First Voice Africa (FVA)First Voice Africa (FVA) is a regional office for First Voice International and was registered as a Kenyan NGO in December 2005. FVA's mission is to provide individuals across Africa who are isolated by geography, illiteracy or poverty, with the opportunity to receive locally relevant information, communicate with the world around them and share their experiences with similar communities. FVA is able to achieve its mission and build a sustainable information infrastructure by linking existing traditional communication systems and both cutting edge and legacy Information Communication Technologies (ICTs). FVA specializes in designing communication strategies for rural, remote, cross-border, and large geographic areas throughout Africa. These areas often have limited or no access to electricity or the Internet, low population densities, harsh weather conditions, low education levels and very limited financial resources.
